We’re back!

After taking a bit of a break over Christmas and New Year to recharge our batteries and generally stuff ourselves full of food and fizz, Eat Midlands is back for 2015.

We’re looking forward to sharing more food news, features and reviews from across the East Midlands over the coming 12 months but thought that, like all good New Year posts, we should kick this one off with a list. Not exactly resolutions, but a few places we’ve got our sights on in 2015…

The Nottingham Cook Book launches

Restaurants, cafes, shops and chefs from across Nottingham have come together in a new book celebrating the city’s food.

The Nottingham Cook Book was released this week and features more than 50 recipes from the likes of Aubrey’s Traditional Creperie, The Cheese Shop, Delilah’s, J T Beedham Butchers, The Larder on Goosegate and World Service.

It’s been a busy 12 months for Jess and Martin Barnett. In the last year they’ve swapped life in Melbourne, Australia, for Nottingham, started a family and set up their own business.
